How To Balance Your Heart Chakra

When the heart chakra is out of balance, we experience ill effects.

A blocked heart chakra can lead to us being withdrawn, socially and emotionally.

It can lead us to bottle things up, shun friends and family, and experience sins of the heart like jealousy and envy.

An overactive heart chakra can lead us to be paralysed by emotion, feeling so strongly that we become dysfunctional. This is no good either.

So we hope to keep our heart chakra in balance. But how do we do that?

Heart Chakra Healing

The best way to heal the heart chakra is to open yourself emotionally to those you love and to practice empathy when they return the favour.

Living with a healthy relationship with your emotions with naturally keep your heart chakra in balance.

But you must be careful to take a step back and ensure that you are not lost in those emotions.

Part of knowing the delicate balance you must strike is a meditative practice.

Feeling your energies, contemplating your actions and reactions and taking stock of the effect they have on your heart chakra energies, only this will help you to keep yourself in balance.

Aid your meditation with aromas such as rose, ylang-ylang and jasmine, and crystals such as pink/clear quartz, green calcite and jade.

Try to identify the times you opened your heart and acted with empathy and love, and remember how that made you feel.

Visualise the positive light that emanated through your subtle body with the high-frequency energies you created.

And try to identify the times that you kept your heart closed and acted without love, perhaps in jealousy or pettiness.

Visualise the negative energy muddying your aura. You must accept that this is a part of you, and endeavour to clear these muddy energies by acting better in future.

The heart chakra is the centre of change, of transformation.

When we progress along our spiritual journey at the right pace, integrating the spiritual and the physical, our heart chakra maintains its balance.

Now you know how to balance your heart chakra.
