3. Write a dream journal

Have a notebook and pencil near your bed. Every time you wake up and have fresh images in your head, take a pencil, note a date and write down everything you remember. Dreams fade quickly so you need to do that as soon as possible. Try to recall specific events, places and people involved.

Visualize again whole images. Even though you might not understand the meaning of everything, record all details, colors, sensations, sounds and emotions.
